HooXi is removed from G2 Esports after two years in roster

Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen was moved to the bench of G2 Esports. The organization announced it in a video on its YouTube channel.

It is not yet clear who will replace Nielsen on the roster. The team needs an IGL, unless Nikola “NiKo” Kovač will return to that role. HooXi’s plans are also unknown at the moment.

Together with G2, they won BLAST Premier: World Final 2022, IEM Katowice 2023, and IEM Cologne 2023. The last trophy for G2, IEM Dallas 2024, was earned without him, as he was attending a wedding of his sister.
